This gem of a van has to go. I spent over two years searching for this exact van for a couple of reasons, and found this one in the Champagne region of France. I have the original Carte gris paperwork and is allowable by the state of California as a historical vehicle. It was used daily as a farm van, transporting hay and veggies to the farmers market in town, with the occasional horse in the back as well.
It's tall. The standover in the cargo area is just over 7 feet. Which is perfect for operating a food truck out of because it meets the certification guidelines for the state of California.
It's been partially refurbished, most rust spots have been ground out and patched. Bear in mind this is a restoration project and is about 20% complete on the inside. The walls have been cut to allow service windows, sinage, etc. This is the most perfect ice cream van, sandwich truck, mobile tea shop. Whatever you want. Keep in mind that this van needs restoration, with an engine swap, and some TLC it could be a daily driver.
I'm really sad to let this project go, but i don't have enough time to finish it. Shoot me an offer and lets talk. Delivery is also available for a set cost. CURRENTLY IN STORAGE IN SAN FRANCISCO**
