Restoration Project Cars, 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 Project For Sale
This is a great candidate for a full restoration, especially considering the rising popularity and value of these beautiful cars. Original factory color was Alfa red with black interior so I resprayed the body with red enamel paint just for kicks. Body will require quite a bit of rust repair, but undercarriage is actually in pretty good condition. Floors appear to be solid and overall this example looks a lot better than most other GTV's I've seen that are in need of full restorations. Some parts are missing, but are all readily available thanks to the many suppliers that offer parts for GTV's - doors and hood will need hinges. Doors do not have glass or door panels. All other glass is intact, but front windshield has a long crack down the driver side. Back seat, front trim, shocks and springs in the front suspension are missing. Spare wheel well is very rusted and should be replaced. Again, although rocker panels on both sides are completely rusted, the floor pans on both sides seem to be in good condition. Engine turns free but have not tried to get it running, transmission goes into all gears and car rolls easily. Sold with clean title. $5,800 OBO.
