Restoration Project Cars, Very Rear 1960 Edsel Sport Coupe
Here is a very rear 1960 Edsel sport coupe .One of only 234 made in this body (2 door hardtop). This was the last year for Edsel he car was a barn find out of Michigan I bought it a few years ago and have never did anything with it as I do not have the time to devote to it. Car has a 292 V8 / auto transmission. Lilac metallic with a white roof. Black and silver interior. The glass is good. The stainless trim is complete and intact. All of the pot metal parts are undamaged and in good shape Grille, grille trim, horn ring, corner directional assemblies. Perfect for replating. Has factory dash pad,day/night mirror, deluxe fender mirrors. Body is very straight with1 small dent on the left fender but never in a major accident. The car needs restoration with the main issue being the rust at the outer edges by the rocker panels and lower quarter panels. I do have full replacement quarter panels and new outer rocker panels that go with the car. Also the car come with the original steel rims and hubcaps, extra tailight bezels,and fender skirts. Here's a rare opportunity to by a iconic make from the 1960's in the most desirable color. The last photo is for reference only and shows what this car will look like after it is restored.
