1963 Citroen DS21 Pallas Project

Restoration Project Cars, 1963 Citroen DS21 Pallas For Sale

Found this one French car project being offered for sale in Tucson, Arizona. As shown here is 1963 Citroen DS21 Pallas, very rare car, sold as a complete project with a lot of good parts and extra doors. This come from the Citroen DS lineage were is one of the few types of cars that have a very good reputation in the world rally's competition.

"The DS was successful in motorsports like rallying, where sustained speeds on poor surfaces are paramount, and won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1959. In the 1000 Lakes Rally, Pauli Toivonen drove a DS19 to victory in 1962.

In 1966, the DS won the Monte Carlo Rally again, with some controversy as the competitive BMC Mini-Cooper team was disqualified due to rule infractions. Ironically, Mini was involved with DS competition again two years later, when a drunk driver in a Mini in Sydney Australia crashed into the DS that was leading the 1968 London–Sydney Marathon, 98 miles from the finish line. The DS was still competitive in the grueling 1974 London-Sahara-Munich World Cup Rally, where it won over 70 other cars, only 5 of which even completed the entire event." Source Wikipedia

This has just been yard art for the past year. It is a really cool looking car that could possibly be restored or restomodded. I figured the year from looking it up on wikipedia, so if you are a Citroen expert please let me know the exact year. It needs a little of everything but would be a very unique ride. I do not have a title. Has a lot of good parts and extra doors. All the glass is in great shape. Price is obo. could deliver within Tucson.
